PUDOW / Practical water knowledge

1. Understand the water

Collect a recent water report. Useful inputs include hardness, alkalinity, conductivity and any local water-quality concerns. The required tests depend on the application.

2. Map the demand

List equipment and outlets. Record simultaneous peak flow as well as estimated daily use; a daily total alone does not describe the busiest service period.

3. Check the site

Confirm inlet pressure, electrical supply, drainage, access and available installation space before selecting the configuration.

4. Plan maintenance

Ask for consumable specifications, maintenance instructions and clear service responsibilities. Compare whole operating requirements rather than the initial purchase price alone.

Selection guidance, not a guaranteed treatment result.
